The Dead Daisies at The Masquerade in Atlanta

The Dead Daisies, live at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA

Date: August 19, 2017
Venue: The Masquerade
Location: Atlanta, GA

While not officially dubbed as a “supergroup,” The Dead Daisies certainly have the pedigree. The band consists of an ever-changing group of musicians, with the core members being: former Motley Crue and RATT singer/guitarist John Corabi; former Whitesnake and Dio guitarist Doug Aldrich; gun-for-hire bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Ted Nugent/Whitesnake); guitarist David Lowy and drummer for…well…everybody, Brian Tichy.

With such a loose group of musicians coming together to form this band, it was no surprise that the evening had a very laid-back kind of feeling. It felt more like a group of friends coming together to just have some fun and play some rock and roll then an official “rock concert.” They obviously were enjoying themselves as they tore through tracks from all three of their studio albums – the most recent being 2016’s Make Some Noise.
