Ragdoll Debut Album to be Released in April
Australian rock band Ragdoll will release their debut album Back to Zero on April 15th (via Bad Reputation) in Europe and May 6th (via Firestarter Distribution) in Australia/USA. Since 2011 the band, comprising Ryan Rafferty (vocals and bass), Cam Barrett (drums) and Leon Todd (guitar), have pioneered a hybrid between classic bombast and modern muscle some have dubbed “hair grunge,” but Leon Todd likes to refer to their style of music as old school ethnic with modern production. The Perth-based trio creates the kind of music that grabs your heart and your mind, and makes you want to shake your hair and your hips and dance, all at the same time.
Cam, Leon and Ryan will be playing songs off their new album at Rocklahoma this coming May in Pryor, Oklahoma. This will be the 5th consecutive year Ragdoll has performed at Rocklahoma.
